Jungle Swing
The Bali Swing has become such a phenomenon that hundreds of others have sprung up all over Bali. It is hard to go 100 yards without seeing a swing or a sign for one. However, the original (and best) Is just outside Ubud, and made our list of amazing things to do in Ubud.
Ever since first seeing pictures of people swinging over the jungle on instagram I wanted to try it for myself. It looks pretty sketchy in a photo but when you get there it actually feels really safe, and is definitely a unique experience. It’s not hard to see why it is one of Bali’s most instagrammable spots.
Ayung River White Water Rafting
The Ayung River is the longest and largest river in Bali, and white water rafting was first introduced in Bali along this lush forested stream. To experience rafting on the river Ayung’s west side is amazing, for besides the enjoyment of challenging rapids, the panorama of this beautiful, intact nature area is highlighted by the appearance of wild animals along the rafting route such as flying foxes, black monkeys, kingfishers and more.
Along the Ayung River rafting course, you will also get to take brief stops by the bank where you can enjoy the immersive nature views, with small waterfalls and crystal clear freshwater pools where you can take a plunge and have some splashing fun. Then, it’s all thrills again as you and your paddling team finish the course through dodging boulders and natural obstacles, to fun nosedives down dams.
